I agree. I also think all these rantings and ravings are childish at best. I have 3 kids under the age of 5 who are more mature than some of the posters. Most of the people bitching have probably downloaded a few hundred soundboards from this site. Give it a rest!!!

However, I do not think anyone in the band is hurting for money. Probably trying to maximize their individual profits and streamline the company.

I'm not 100% sure about that. I remember even Jerry saying back in '91 that even though he'd like to call a halt to the Dead and do his whole bluegrass and R&B thing, he couldn't because of the bands obligations to its employees - numbering circa 300 at the time. Probably a fair number of them are due to retire soon, and then there'll be pensions to fund. That alone will be millions per annum.
